TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the required documentation for extending a 30-day tourism visa in Thailand, particularly whether a flight ticket showing a departure after 3-4 months is necessary. The comments clarify that showing a flight ticket is not required for the extension application, and provide information about the TM6 departure card received upon entry to Thailand.

I think you try to explain that you have a flight ticket out of Thailand 3 or 4 months later than the allowed time you can stay with an Extension of Stay.

Showing a flight ticket is not required when you apply for an Extension of Stay.

The departure card is the TM6 (if my memory serves me right) that is stapled to your passport. You received the card when you arrived in Thailand, and you completed half of it and handed it to the passport control officer on entry. The other half was stapled to your passport and you’ll hand that over to passport control when you leave Thailand.
