I'm about to go for my first trip to Kuala Lumpur to apply for a two month visa there.
I have been given the document in the photo below as a rental agreement.
I have a couple of questions:
- once I have completed it, do you think it will be enough?
- in terms of the duration, should I put it for the duration of my whole stay until November or only until I need to go and get another visa?
Any help and advice with these questions would be greatly appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on applying for a two-month visa in Kuala Lumpur, specifically regarding a rental agreement they hold. They ask if this document will suffice and whether the visa duration should cover their entire stay or just until they need to apply for another visa. Community responses advise keeping the visa duration shorter, mention the necessity of having a ticket out of Thailand, and affirm the rental agreement should be acceptable for proof of lodging.
Should be fine. I always just put my intended stay as 60 days, then get the extension. It's a smooth operation over there....12:30 cutoff for applications, pick up next day 2:30 - 4:30...Hope all goes well 😃
Thanks Simon. I have booked my flight out of Thailand and printed the ticket. The flight is in 90 days as I plan to get an extension in Koh Samui. Hope this is not a problem.
I would say for the date just 90 days. You write after his visa you want another visa and I think in the mean time extension of stay for 30 days. Don't give them the impression you live full time in Thailand on Tourist visa.
