What is the process to convert DTV to open my own business/visa work permit etc?

Can you stay within Thailand for the entire process or does this visa need to be cancelled by exiting first and then re-entering on a tourist visa and converting to business from there?

Any info on cancelling this visa would be appreciated as with my timeline it may make more sense to just issue a tourist visa and not go DTV route after all. I was thinking to take DTV to buy more time but now I’m not sure… thank you!

I want to open a bar/restaurant with my Thai girlfriend but I’m here on a 60 day free visa on arrival. Which visa would be best? Business visa or marriage visa? Also, should the business be under my name or hers?

Hello everyone, the last 8 months I had an ED-Visa. I don't plan to make another language course right now. I wonder what options I do have to stay longer. I am freelancer but only European customers. But I plan to start a small business with a Thai friend, like running a hostel or something. But it's high season right now so not a good time to buy. I heard that I could apply for a one year Business visa and with this I can start exploring business opportunities. Has anyone more information about that? I checked some agencies who promise 100% success when I apply with them. Is this necessary? Anyone experiences? What do I need to do if I want to make it my myself. Thanks a lot for your help.
