I'm moving to Thailand from the U.S.; my wife is a dual citizen Thai/U.S. I previousy lived in Thailand for 3 years.
Question please: I'm retired from the U.S. government and have health insurance that covers me anywhere with no limits, but it does take some time to arrange payment.
In cae I am injured or sick and in the ER or in hosptial in Thailand, I assume that I should also have Thai medical insurance immediately available.
SInce I have my U.S. insurance, any suggestions on insurance companies in Thailand to speak with? I assume that my insurance cost will be greatly reduced(?), as ultimately my U.S. insurance will cover all costs.
Does anyone know a good health insurance company with reasonable rates? As I'm trying to complete my OA Visa. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you.
How easy / straightforward is it to get a health insurance cover locally if you’re on a DTV visa? Any recommendations on reliable providers? Or should I be taking out WW or nomad health insurance from home country?
im planning on getting 1 year health insurance for my ED Visa stay. I've looked at a lot of plans which include outpatient and inpatient care and the "Allianz Ayudhya" seem very good on paper.
Does anyone have experience with them? Or which insurer would you recommend?
Hi all just ref covid insurance my policy is due to expire and have to stay in Thailand a bit longer just wondering does anyone know a insurance provider will do a month or two? Current provider is telling me have to extend for a minimum of 3 months but don't intend being in Thailand that long.
