Not visa related so delete if inappropriate. Can anyone recommend travel health insurance for a 70 year old American visiting America but a residence of Thailand ? Of course I have Medicare part A free but that’s all . I’m only finding $100,000 coverage for 45 days around $600 . $100,000 is not enough for the United States hospitals for something major

Thank you

Hi all - this one falls under the “and everything else” part of this group. Looking for short term health insurance for my parents (71 and 68) who will be here for 89 days from 2 Feb… any recommendations? Thanks in advance 🙏

ETA - they’re both Irish citizens and residents.

Hi everyone. I have a question regarding medical insurance for a retirement visa. does anyone know of an insurance company that will offer coverage for a person over the age of 70 with preexisting conditions at an affordable price. For Thailand only to be paid in Thai baht.

He understands that preexisting conditions won’t be included however some of the insurance companies are very vague about what they will cover, almost a case of submit a claim and then hope for the best. Other companies won’t even give a quote. He also doesn’t want to have to sell a kidney to get insurance.

Need advice please, we are United States citizens.

Myself (49), my husband (51), and my mother (86) would like to eventually obtain the non immigration O retirement visa while in Thailand, which seems to be the easiest to do.

I won't turn 50 until June. I'm trying to find a way to move to Phuket earlier than July.

Can all 3 of us enter Thailand using a tourist visa, extend stay until I turn 50 IN THAILAND, then convert to the O retirement visa while in Thailand?

Also, if this is our plan, will having a one way plane ticket be an issue flying out of the US or flying into Thailand (using just a regular tourist visa)? I don't want to book three return tickets only to throw them away. We don't plan on coming back to the US for at least 1 year. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Help with COVID insurance. I will be 75 next month and applied for AXA. I was told I don’t meet their requirement. No reason provided. I think Luma had same age requirement. Does anyone know of a company for us older guys? My preliminary COE was rejected because I did not provide COVID insurance info.
