TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking recommendations for insurance that meets the Thailand Pass requirement of $50,000 coverage for their elderly family members aged 75 and 78, emphasizing that they have no pre-existing conditions. Comments suggest looking into previous discussions regarding insurance for older travelers, with a mention of Arawan Namak as a potential insurer. Additionally, there is a suggestion to consider the possibility of an ‘opt out’ clause that may allow for coverage exceptions.

I seem to recall sometime back that I read about an ‘opt out’ clause for the elderly whereby if you uploaded a letter from an insurance company stating that they could not be covered, then ‘consideration would be given’. Maybe do some more research along that line of enquiry…?

There has been a few posts about insurance for this age. I think Arawan Namak had a policy.
