So, anyone know what is required now as insurance to get into Thailand. I have never had it before of the many years going. Looking into it the prices are as high and higher than my $1000 dollar ticket! Suggestions please. I am old - 74 which seems to be a problem even when in excellent health and no meds.

Patricia , you no longer need Covid insurance or any other health insurance to enter Thailand . If your going for a holiday just get normal travel insurance for your trip , or don’t . If your planning to retire there insurance would be a good idea but expensive for good coverage at your age …but research many companies as they can be very clever at not paying out …. Good luck

Unless you're entering with an OA visa, you shouldn't be required to show any insurance to enter.
