Hi all - this one falls under the “and everything else” part of this group. Looking for short term health insurance for my parents (71 and 68) who will be here for 89 days from 2 Feb… any recommendations? Thanks in advance 🙏

ETA - they’re both Irish citizens and residents.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeks recommendations for short-term health insurance for their elderly Irish parents visiting Thailand for approximately 89 days. Responses include suggestions for travel insurance that could suffice, various providers like Insure & Go and justcover.ie, and a specific advice to use comparison tools like Checkdi. Additionally, a representative from Wrlife offered global coverage options, emphasizing the need for medical checks for pre-existing conditions.

Go for a travelinsurance from the homecountry, that typical includes transport back to the homecountry, if needed in sewere ( or worse) cases, or to get relatives to Thailand.

hi Mark - thanks! As they live in Ireland it’s really only insurance to cover them while they’re here that I need. Can you assist with that also? Thanks 🙏

Just need to know if they have any previous conditions...not effect the cost or the offer all applications have to be checked by medical-team

When we came over last year we used justcover.ie We are both in our late 60’s and early 70’s. We got 12 months cover and it was €230. We are from Cork.
