TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking recommendations for health insurance as they plan to retire in Thailand on a Non-O Visa in October 2025. The discussion highlights the importance of having local insurance agents that can connect retirees with major insurance carriers, the potential costs associated with obtaining insurance at an older age, and suggestions for reputable brokers such as Tenzing Pacific Services. There is also a note that the Non-O Visa does not have a strict insurance requirement, yet prudent insurance coverage is advised, considering the health history exclusions commonly found in Thai insurance policies.

Non-o visa has no insurance requirement. Be careful with insurance here. It's archaic and previous treatment (and possibly related) will be excluded.

use a local agent in your area (so you can have assistance available when needed) that can access a major carrier like Allianz or Axa. At 67 it won't be cheap and worse at 70, but worth it.
