Has anyone received the DTV based on a medical reason?
I am having an implant done now in the USA in October but would be in Thailand about the time where I could get a crown on it (takes 3-6 months to heal first)... and wonder is that would suffice.... (it may not be until Feb).
So I just need to show some sort of proof of an appointment with a Dentist, etc?
From what I casually read though it might be for onlu ongoing medical care (long term issue...)....
As a retiree, is it possible to obtain a DTV by showing the requisite banked ฿500K, supported by monthly overseas pension statements? Or, would I have to obtain a medical/dental appointment? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
I’m in Oklahoma and I’m having trouble finding a medical facility that can test me for the diseases listed by Thailand for a visa. Namely Leprosy, is anyone else having this problem? Thanks in advance.
We are travelling to Penang next week for our Non B visa run. My partner has a 1 year multiple entry so just needs to border bounce and I have to go to the embassy for a further 3 months.
Does anyone know if we will need medical papers to get back in? We are from the UK.
Question; Has anyone gotten a 90 day single entry Non-Immigrant Type O visa based on being over 50 (retirement) from the thai consulate in Vientiane recently?
A poster on another group was given a hand out listing requirements that I have never seen before for that type of visa.
I got my 90 day Non-O from Vientiane just by showing proof of income using the notarized consulate affidavit. I never submitted a resume, a police back ground check or a medical certificate
Those sound suspiciously like the requirements to get a year-long, multi-entry Non-Immigrant Type O-A (long stay visa) not a 90 day Non-O.
