TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Non O-A visa in Thailand, a medical certificate is required to confirm that the applicant does not have certain specific medical conditions, including syphilis and elephantiasis. A summary of patient records is insufficient; the certificate must explicitly state that the applicant is free from these conditions. It's suggested to consult with a doctor who can conduct the necessary tests, as not all clinics may be able to provide the certification needed.

I'm in the US and finally found a doctor to certify mine next week.. check for your infectious disease doctors locally..or if you are in NC I can recommend a place...I talked to 20 places that told.me no before I found this place

The big element with the medical certificate is that your doctor tests and verifies you don't have syphilis, or elephantiasis. There are a few other conditions, like drug addiction, but those two are the main ones, and many are not able to test for both, so won't certify you don't have them.

No probleminthe UK. The doctors have your records and can say yeah or nay. The USA seems to be second generation when it comes to medical records.

A summary won’t suffice I believe. It needs to say the person doesn’t have the specific medical conditions( in previous post it’s been said were you can get one)

My doctor gave me mine.

Best of luck

I see posts from people saying to contact Dr Donna (

and she’ll arrange a Skype type call and issue the necessary certificate.

Most western clinics will have issues with some of the tests required.
