Hey everyone, I'm nearly all set to fly Lisbon - Dubai - Bangkok this Friday.

I have a PCR test to take, COE details all uploaded,(waiting on confirmation), and ASQ booked etc.

There's one last requirement - a "Fit to Fly Medical Certificate" -does anyone have more info on this? I'm being told by the Thai Lisbon Embassy this is separate from the PCR test. Has anyone else had to get one of these? What did it entail? Did you just need to see a Dr? What are the requirements? Is this even mandatory having flown to Thailand recently? Any info much appreciated!

Thankyou.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to travel from Lisbon to Bangkok and is seeking information about the 'Fit to Fly Medical Certificate,' which is mentioned as a separate requirement from the PCR test. Several commenters recommend Dr. Donna for obtaining the certificate, highlighting her efficiency and familiarity with immigration requirements. Additionally, it's noted that the Fit to Fly certificate must be a separate document from the PCR test results and should be presented at various checkpoints during the journey.

Absolutely you can as long as it fits the criteria they ask for

Can we bring Insurance from our own country ?

You will need Fit to Fly Certificate to show to boarding agent in Lisbon and you will have your paperwork check again in Dubai

There are generic samples on the internet. Check Thaiest. They are 1 page documents that a doctor had to fill out saying you have no serious infectious diseases and need an escort or wheelchair assistance or serious medications. check Dr Donna as previously mentioned. I just got out of quarantine and best to get from your own doctor w their signature, letterhead and doctors number. They wanted it upon entry.

I concur about Dr. Donna. Took less than 2 minutes. Couldn't have been simpler. And you know it is guaranteed to work since that's what she specializes in, and Thai immigration/health authorities are quite familiar with her certificate. I could tell the examining officer looking over everything else carefully just took a glance when it came to Dr. Donna's certificate and checked it off immediately without reading it, like he had seen it plenty of times before.

Ok, great. So Get PCR done 48 hrs before flight. Signup with Donna. Ask her questions. Get result. Pass it on to her. Then get Fit to Fly cert. It's all a bit stressful doing this last minute! haha

72 hours before flight is the minimum even better if you can get it 48.

Honestly her certificate is just a rubber stamp as long as your test is negative it’s a done deal haha
Neil *********
You will need your result first. They’ll ask for it and the 400baht then once you answer the questions you’ll get it straight to your email
