ORIGINAL POSTER
I have epilepsy but it is very well controlled I take 2 tablets a day and don't have any fits or shakes I even still drive a car daily.

Will this prevent me from retirement in Thailand. I don't even see a doctor anymore.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about potential issues with obtaining a retirement visa in Thailand due to having well-controlled epilepsy. The responses indicated that there are typically no medical exams for retirement visas and that others did not face issues related to their health conditions. However, concerns were raised regarding health insurance coverage exclusions and restrictions on obtaining a driver's license. The consensus suggests that being open about the condition may not be necessary unless directly asked.

It won't restrict you from a visa extension, but it will restrict you from getting any drivers license.

Drivers licence medical exam is a 3 minute and 100 baht event.

Don't volunteer anything.

Besides epilepsy is a symptoms not a condition.

If you've controlled the symptom ....

congrats

I was advised that even if your premium is not loaded or exclusions stated when taking out your policy, in the event of a claim, anything related to pre-existing conditions (whether disclosed or not) will not be covered.

Should not be a problem. Even to get a medical certificate for Thai licence, there was no physical examination or questions from the doctor.
