What are the penalties for late 90-day reporting in Thailand, and is there a grace period?

Good morning,

My 90 days report was on December 15 which was a Sunday. I was supposed to do it on Monday December 16 but I forgot I just remembered today December 23rd but I can only go tomorrow December 24th because I have a doctor's appointment today. My question is will they charge me for late report if yes how much do they charge per per. Don't they give like a few days time that is acceptable for you to do late 90 days report?

Before I used to go 4-5 days after the supposed day for my report and I was never charged, this time it's been 8 days been two of the days a weekend.

I did the online report today, will I still be fined?

Can my friend file his 90-day report in Krabi instead of Bangkok after missing the deadline?

Hi. My close friend is on a retirement visa. He just realised his 90 day reporting was due on 9 March. He is currently in Krabi but normally reports in Bangkok. Can he go to Krabi Immigration to report and pay the fine? Or should he head quickly to Bangkok? Advice appreciated as always. Thanks
