Hello. If I am in Thailand and need to extend my stay, can a hotel give me a TM 30? I see many posts saying a landlord needs to submit it, but what if I’m basically living in a hotel?

Some advice with regard to registering as a foreigner in Thailand within 24 hours.

I am returning on a 60 day tourist visa with an intention to extend by 30 days.

I have flights booked 02.03.24 and 30.05.24

My girlfriend is allowing me to stay at her place in a Condo Apartment. In Nonthaburi which she rents from an individual. I am obviously not be paying money to stay at the condo. She has a lease, therefore is she the one to fill in the TM30. Is that all I need to present to immigration, or do I need other forms?

I want to make sure everything is submitted to allow my 60 to 90 day extension to go through without a hitch, and could you advise when I submit for extension. And what documents are required

Your assistance/advice would be appreciated xxxx

Hi all. Just wondered . I have arrived in Thailand on a 60 e visa. Do I have to inform immigration upon arrival of where I'm staying, as I have already given proof upon application ?

Thanks in advance .

That’s it unless you like to travel. If you don’t travel around and just stay at the premises you are registered at then you won’t have any issues. Your registration does not expire. As soon as you leave the country, even for a few days, you must re-register on your return.

# If you stay in a hotel/guest house within Thailand, then you’ve re-registered in a different location. Once you return to your primary location in Thailand you have to re-register in that location again - TM30 Explained! You Must Register Any Non Thai National Living In Your Property! I am arriving on a Tourist Visa (60d) and want to get an extension later during my stay. My first 2 nights will be in a hotel, while I look for an apartment.

Am I required to do the TM30 registration? If don`t do it will that make a problem for me when I do the 30d extension?

Hi! I'm on the road, currently Bangkok, and I need to get my Covid extension, so I need to get a TM30 here. Does anyone know a hotel that will register me automatically, or at least without me having to insist? Only one resort in Krabi ever registered me without my asking, the rest took a lot of pleading and handholding, and I'm trying to spare myself the trouble. Thank you!

Holding a tourism stamp/sticker visa (not visa on arrival), in order to apply for an 30 days extension, do I need to ask the accommodation room host to register my information to some official website within a required period? I do not see this from Thai immigration official website, but last year, the owner of the house I stayed registered and print a paper for me to carry to the immigration office. If yes, anyone knows the website address, and which period of time that I should be registered? Many thanks in advance!

I have a question regarding ' accommodation registration' when visiting Thailand. A Swedish friend has come to stay in Hua Hin for 1 month, he has his own condominium, he filled in the TM6 prior to entry (the form give out by airline crew) with his address.

Does he now have to go along to immigration to register a TM30 ??

some information for the people in Phuket:

PHUKET

A note on a FB post to note if you're heading to Immigration. Thanks to Ian Wallace for the heads-up...

"I was at Phuket immigration yesterday and two points to note...

- women were being refused entry if not covering their shoulders

- to renew retirement Visa they now require you to register your accommodation address before they would process you."
