Considering coming on the stv for 60 and extending for 30 days but don't have a place to stay for the duration and don't like to book for 3 months (2 and a half after Quarantine) as it may turn out blinkin awful! Prefer to stay for 2/3 days and find a place, anyone have a solution or just book on say Booking.com for 3 different periods which have free cancellation, but will they accept a not paid for booking for the visa? ta

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses concerns about booking accommodations for the Special Tourist Visa (STV) in Thailand. The visa allows a stay of 90 days, and while it's not necessary to have accommodations booked for the entire duration, the first few nights' accommodations are typically required. Suggestions include using Booking.com for hotels with free cancellation options to avoid commitment while securing necessary documentation for the visa application.

Just starting the process to get to Thailand. The plane ticket looks to be the hardest thing. Anyone got any info. On what’s available. They tell me the repat. Flights have long a long wait.
Even though the above pic re the documentation required is from Israel, it does state accomodation 'after' asq, have to find a "friend" for an invite or as mentioned book with free cancellation.
amazing special offers on almost all hotels, especially in areas popular with foreign tourists. You can just shop around or book last minute on an app, unless they're insisting on an address for the duration (edit: as someone else pointed out you might need something booked for the first few nights, many apps have free cancellation)
Does Not Look Like they Ask Too Much Regarding That Online From What i saw today An Address and a Second Address Were The Questions Length of Stay i Could Not See Anywhere But Im Only Doing the Visa Process Now
The "stv" is valid for 90 days at a time, not 60. The SETV( Single entry tourist visa) is what you're talking about, and you don't need accomodations booked for the duration of your trip, just the first few days.
