I went to the CM immigration to enquire about the renewal. I was told by the officer. Option 1, fly back to Singapore to obtain the affidavit letter from the Thai embassy and apply for the retirement visa again (hence not a renewal). Option 2, deposit 800k in Thai Bank and process the renewal in CM. Deposit 6500k x12 monthly is not possible (it cannot be accumulated nor backdate of that 12x transfer for this renewal or extension. These are the 2 options provided to me. But I will try to use my pension statement (fund outside of Thailand) to see whether it works or not. I will update accordingly. At the meantime, are there any other options that you may share(if any)🙏🏻
