More confirmation the DTV is staying and talks of simplifying application process.

The Thailand ETA is coming and that will make it more difficult for those trying to stay long term in Visa Exempts ie border bounces. [members only]

Hi, is it correct that the 30-day stamp on arrival can be used up to 6 times per calendar year (Australian passport)? And if there have also been entries on a 60 day tourist visa does that make a difference?

I’m an Australian passport holder and in on a 30 day visa excempt and it runs out on the 16 th on Sunday . I was going to get the 30 day extension today but it’s a holiday until Monday which would put me a day over . If I did a land crossing to Lao would that give me another 30days or45 days . Or could I just pay the 500 for one day overstay and get 30 day extension on Monday . Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you
