A question - when you're 90 day non o visa that was issued inside your home country ( UK for me ) is near to expire

And you are going to apply for 1 year extension

Do you require -

1 , 800000 baht in a Thai bank or

2 , proof that you have been in receipt of 65000 baht per month for the previous 3 months

Or

3 , or a combination

I have heard talk that a combination of options 1 and 2 are now available

Is this true or false. ??

If true can somebody explain exactly what this combination is

Happy days

DTV Extension Questions:

1) When is the earliest possible time that someone can extend the DTV by another 6 months?

2) Can I get the DTV and then immediately go to extend it by 6 months at immigration, or do I have to wait a certain time?

3) Have there been any credible sources (actual person who did it already) as proof that it costs 1900 or 10000 THB to extend?

Thank you ๐Ÿ™

Hi guys,

Iโ€™ve had a look online but nothing seems clear,

Is it possible to stay in Thailand more than 90 days without having to leave the country and come back ?

I currently live in the Philippines and you can stay there for 3 years, was wondering if thereโ€™s anything similar here.

I have a British passport.

Thank you ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

I am currently on a 30 day visa exempt stamp. I will need to extend it by 30 days. At Chaengwattana immigration how many days before it expires should you extend? Does Chaengwattana require TM 30 to extend? Thank you for the help.

We (retired Canadian couple living in Berlin) have been spending three-month sojourns in Thailand by means of 60-day tourist visas, a week in Cambodia or Laos, and then returning to Thailand on a 30-day exemption. This works for us, but I found a new kind of visa on the website of the Berlin Thai Embassy โ€” Non-Immigrant O2. (At least new to me.)

It gives you a 90-day stay and the only difference from the Single Entry Tourist Visa if youโ€™re over 50, seems to be a financial hoop you have to jump through and a fee of โ‚ฌ70 rather than โ‚ฌ35 for the tourist visa.

Am I missing something? Why isnโ€™t this visa mentioned more often by seniors who want to stay longer than 2 months? Could this visa also be extended by an additional month at an Immigration office?

Hello! I had an VOA and after that a 30 days extension, so now I could be in Thailand till 13/2. Tomorrow I'll go to Laos for 10 days and after Laos I'll go to Vietnam. But I wanted to take a sleepertrain from Nong Khai (Thailand, just across the border with Laos) to Bangkok to take a flight to Vietnam. I was wondering if I'm allowed to get back in Thailand for the sleepertrain and get again a VOA?
