Hi everyone — hoping someone here has experience with this.

1. Can you withdraw an application? I've accepted I won't get my application fee back.

2. If not, can I go to another country an re-apply (basically with 2 active applications).

I currently have a DTV application in process through Kuala Lumpur, but they came back requesting additional documentation that is difficult for me to obtain even though I have everything. (minimum 6-month lease proof, contracts certfied by the embassy, etc...). From what I’ve seen online, KL seems to be one of the stricter posts. All the original requirements, I have along with the minumum funds amount.

I’m considering traveling to Bali and submitting a new DTV application there, since I’ve heard Indonesia tends to process them faster and with more straightforward document requirements.

My question is:

Has anyone successfully submitted a second DTV application in another country while an earlier one was still pending elsewhere?

I’m trying to avoid a formal rejection on my record if possible, but I’m not sure if the system allows two active applications tied to the same passport.

If anyone has firsthand experience with this (KL → Bali / another consulate), I’d really appreciate hearing how it worked.

Thanks in advance.

I am going to try to reach out to "withdraw" but not sure this will work. However, I am confident I will get approved quickly in Indonesia.
