How much do ATMs charge for US Visa withdrawal? Is it possible to cash a check? Should I just bring cash $$?

You cant get a Visa from and atm machine. 555, see what I did there. " About Visas and everything else". Okay, sorry Ill see myself out. Bring cash if you dont want to pay the fees. Someplaces will charge you to pay by CC too. Bring it though. Stuart is a guru and really knows his stuff you can trust his advice. Crisp new 100 bills without any marks on them

If you open a bank with Charles Schwab. ATM charges are free. And they will refund you the 220baht local machine charge

ATMs will charge you 220 baht per transaction (on top of what your own bank may charge for the service/exchange).

Won’t be possible to cash a check. Travellers checks perhaps (do they still exist?).

Cash can be exchanged everywhere. Lots of kiosks in the tourist resorts or cities. Banks in the more rural places.
