Good morning, our son who is visiting us in Bangkok will need need to apply for his visa exemption extension.As he will put down our adress in Bangkok on the TM7 form does that means he needs to do the extension in Bangkok?

We are going to Hua Hin for a few days so was thinking it might be easier to do the extension once we are in Hua Hin.

Hi. 4 questions re visa extension. Which immigration centre in Bangkok do i need to go to for extending 60 day tourist visa? I heard there's two different ones. Is the maximum extension 30 days or can it be for longer? When giving reason for extension is 'to visit more parts of the country' enough of an answer? Would I need to show evidence of return travel home/elsewhere? Thanks

Has anyone recently traveled with an old and new passport in hand to Kualar Lumpur?

My husband had to recently get a new Australian passport as his old one had a bad stamp from some dodgy school that cropped up during the Covid years.

On the 31st of March [Friday just gone] my husband left Thailand on an old passport that expires today [April 2nd] and he was hoping that the Thai Embassy in Kl would put the tourist visa stamp into his new passport [especially considering that the old one is now non-usable as of today].

So, my husband left Thailand on the old passport and then entered Malaysia on the old passport and is now concerned that at the Thai Embassy in Kl that they will think it strange that he has a brand-new passport when his old passport still had two years validity on it and a few spare pages left.

Has anyone recently been through this experience at the KL Thai embassy?

Hi Group I arrived in Bangkok on the 14th Feb and got stamped in to the 29th March (Visa exemption) Is it possible to extend my stay by either 30 days or can I apply for Covid extention? Hi feel stupid asking but here goes. In UK have applied for TR visa online . Says application completed 6/12/20 but not yet showing a status (ok with that). It hasn't asked me to pay a fee or send my passport. When and how am i supposed to do these things please?

I had a problem in court that is on now for for four months and due to this i got over stay now 95 days already, but my boss is still ready to give me the documents to go out of Thailand and get the visa, i want to know if this is possible that either phillipines or cambodia gives me the visa?

Morning all and thanks for the great info here. I'm hoping you can help with a couple of quick questions. I'll be needing a 30-day extension to my 60-day tourist visa.

1. I've read it can be done 45 days before expiry of the 60-day. But I've also seen only within 30 days of expiry. Which is true?

2. Also, I can choose between Chiang Mai or Pattaya to get this done. Which would be easiest, most efficient, less of a PITA? And any days to avoid in either office?
