Hi Group I arrived in Bangkok on the 14th Feb and got stamped in to the 29th March (Visa exemption) Is it possible to extend my stay by either 30 days or can I apply for Covid extention? I would like to stay as long as possible. If so where is the best place to do this in Bangkok and what documents do I need to show? Any advice would be very much appreciated Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on extending their stay in Thailand, which is set to expire on March 29th. They arrived on February 14th under a visa exemption. Community members suggest that the user can apply for a 30-day extension for 1,900 Thai baht at Thai Immigration and need specific documents like their passport and entry stamp. Additionally, they mention that the last day to apply for a COVID-19 extension is March 30, but recommend trying to secure the 30-day extension first.

Many offices allow you to apply 30days extension first. But no harm to ask if you can. Also it'd be no harm on that day or a day later to ask for covid extension once you get 30days, because 'normally' (for normal situation and cases) Bangkok allows you to apply for new extension when your stamp has 45 days or less. Sorry not sure this applies for Covid extension but as I wrote, asking about that would not harm..

You can get a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism without any problems. You will need your passport, a copy of your data (picture) page, entry stamp and departure card. The cost is 1,900 THB.

The last day they are selling the 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19 is March 30. Bangkok immigration wants you to get the extension of stay based on tourism first.

You have one 30 day extension available 1,900 Thai baht at Thai Immigration.

The COVID 60 day extensions ...last day to apply is March 30...unless extended.
