TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is currently facing a 95-day overstay in Thailand due to an ongoing court case. While their employer is willing to provide the necessary documentation to exit Thailand and apply for a visa, there are concerns regarding potential penalties for the overstay, including being blacklisted for a year. Comments suggest that the lawyer's claims about obtaining a court permit that could facilitate getting a visa are dubious. There are also worries about the risks of being stopped by police and the need for proper visa extensions during the court case.

If u are registered at the airport with more then 90 days u will be blacklisted for a year to come back... I have never heard that a court jugged that a foreinger will be not blocked because of a case......I think you lawyer wants to make money....but give us the feed back when u have left ...what happens

And be aware of the police and controlling a everywhere .....

Best of luck. Many neighbouring countries will give you a tourist visa....if you can clear the overstay that is....I hope your Lawyer has some powerful friends...!!!

I think your lawyer is making things up, I've never heard of a court permit which will let you get a visa after you accrued an overstay that gets you banned.

Your lawyer should have been getting you extensions of stays based on an ongoing court case ALL this time. NOT after the fact.

Good Luck.

ok i didn't think that giving an advice in private is prohibited in this group, same thing happened to my friends and i don't want to expose their names, by the way goodluck.

You could tell us what happened without using their full names so that people see how the situation was resolved.

The reason we don't do the "get a hold of me I'll tell you what to do" is we don't know if you know what you're talking about.

Nothing personal, we try to keep everything on the group so that people can all benefit

BUT MY LAWYER SAYS HE CAN GET A COURT PERMIT WHICH COULD HELP ME GET A VISA.THE PERMIT WILL STATE THAT IT IS DUE TO THE CASE THAT COST MY VISA TO GET OVER STAY,WHAT DO YOU THINK?

And be afraid of every policeman u see because if they want to see your passport / visa you will be in jail directly....your employer seams to be not aware of that as well because if you on a work permit from him he will get big problems as well.

Go out of thailand , pay the fee , and stay outside for a while

unfortunately you should have been getting extensions of stays based on being in a court case here while you were waiting for the case to settle.

Now that you have overstayed over 90 days, when you go to stamp out of the country you will be banned for 1 year.
