On the Thai embassy website for the DTV file it asks for the departure date. What should I indicate? 180 days after my arrival or 5 years ?

Can someone clarify about this Vientiane option to apply for the DTV? Do I need to make an appointment at the Thai embassy for that? And can any nationality apply?

Next month will go to Vientiene to apply for the DTV...

Currently living in Bangkok and have proof of residence, Thai bank accounts (with the necessary funds for the last year) and have enrolled in a Muay Thai class (with dtv authorisation documents)

How many days do you think it will take to get the DTV approved once in Laos?

Is TM30 reporting within 24 hours still a necessary requirement every time you re-enter Thailand with your DTV?

Do you also need to bring the TM 30 to your 90 day reports like you have to to do an extending your tourist visa?

I'm from USA and applied to the Washington Embassy

I originally applied for LTR-T WFT which is currently pending.

Impatiently waited 2 months for LTR so I applied for DTV too

While I wait for LTR to be approved, I now have DTV.

- I provided the following:

* New Passport Compliant Photo (Professional)

* Passport Bio Photo

* USA Driver License (i.e. phone bill)

* Bank Balance (>500,000 THB)

* Employment Verification w/ HR allow to work from Thailand

March 21 @ 2PM - REQ additional Documents

- Request recent pay slip w/ company, full name, and period date

- Submit 6 Pay slips in one PDF file

March 24 @ 4:45PM - Emailed Results

- Application Approved

I learned the first 90 day report must be done in person.

Can anyone confirm you can report online after your 1st 180 days entry or extension?
