On the website it says that: "Foreigners are required to submit The website says: *"Foreigners are required to submit their arrival card information 3 days before arriving in Thailand."*
If I’m planning a same-day border run, does that mean I have to submit the TDAC form while I’m still in Thailand? Could that cause any issues?

You can complete the fom right before the immigration desk, provided you have a smartphone and connectivity.

The 3 days rule means don't do it if your arrival time is MORE than 3 days away. Anytime within 3 days is fine, including while standing in line at immigration

My friend did a day trip land border run a few weeks ago. He filled it out the day before he did the border run. It didn't cause any problems, everything was fine

No. You can do it once you arrive back. Just before passing through immigration.
