HCMC VisaDTV info and more questions than answers after emailing them.

1 document showing transactions and 1 document showing statement of 500k, wouldn’t 1 bank statement be enough? I have asked them but no reply in two week. HCMC

Also - my (Wise) bank statement is about 10 pages in a pdf, is it possible to upload this like the way it is 10+ pages?

Can anyone recommend any health insurance, I'm originally from the U.K. so never had to worry about any health care needs. I'm looking at staying in Thailand with my DTV so want to make sure I'm covered.

Two questions:

1. Can the 500k requirement be in a UK Stocks and Shares ISA bank account that’s invested into index funds?

2. I’m a digital nomad in south east Asia. I stay predominantly in Thailand, but can go anywhere. Where would be the best place to apply for the DTV?

I would like to ask for everyone’s opinions on this. I know there will be many different answers, but I am interested in hearing about what everyone thinks about this.

Do you guys think it is a realistic and good decision to move to Thailand, I mean pack up all your things and go on a DTV visa? Or do you think that this visa is still too new and can’t be trusted this much. I mean at least to move to Thailand for the next 5 years, obviously will be doing the boarder bounce every 180 days. I am sure many are wondering about this. Has anyone made the big move to stay for 5 years coming in and out?

I've looked through relevant posts but didn't find this exact point covered:

does a UK passport holder visiting Thailand for 2 weeks need to get a visa on arrival? Or would that case count as Visa Exempt?

Hello does anyone have any experience with visa extension in Cambodia?? I was waiting for the DTV approval but I only have a visa exemption..so I'm worried that I'll not get that in 14 days and want to apply for a T visa. So my question is can I apply it in person at immigration office?? What things do they require?

Requesting permission to post this video from Integrity Legal. Seems like Benjamin Hart has a real problem with this visa (and by extension, his friend, Barry Kenyon from the Pattaya Mail), believing such things as, 1) no in-country extensions will be possible; 2) it will lead to an influx of Westerners and other foreigners that will "disrupt" the Thai way of life and 3) that it can't be used for de facto residence in Thailand. 4) That Thailand based employment would be allowed when this visa was first announced (I don't remember that claim at all).

Firstly, for 1) it's too early to say what will happen. Let's wait and see and stop with the endless back and forth speculation. For 2) that's complete nonsense; only a few thousand DTVs have been approved, that's a drop in the ocean compared to the millions of tourists that have entered Thailand since the DTV became available in mid July. Not to mention there have probably been thousands more agent assisted extensions of stay for retirement, marriage and other purposes issued in that time. 3) Why would the DTV be different to a multiple entry non-imm visa? Other than some land borders possibly insisting on a night or two outside of the country between visits (especially if you "max out" the nearly 6 month stay limit) I don't see why DTV holders won't be able to come and go as freely as multiple entry non-imm B and O holders have been so far. 4) Sounds like he's making that up or has misunderstood something.
