This isn't a visa question but what are the different ways to fund a K-bank account? I know cash deposits work, but what other options are available?

Hello,

My son lives in Thailand First at a tourist visa, but that has now expired and he is back in the Nederlands.

In May we applied for the DTV visa at the Thai embassy throygh a visa agency in the Nederlands.

It was rejected because he still had a visa (while the embassy had said before that this was not a problem)

We are now going to request it again.

Can anyone advise me on whether i should have it done by an agency again? And if so by a dutch or thai agency

And what is easier as a freelancer or through muay thai

Because i read that you can register through an immigration service and then you will receive all the required paperworks

I hope you can advise us so that the application goes well this time

Because he wants to go back tho Thailand as soon as possible with a visa

I have had £12,000 gbp in my savings account since July 10th.

Is this sufficient to apply for the DTV in September in terms of time frame and amount please.

Hello, regarding the 15k usd / 500k baht, what are the seasoning rules? Can I just put the money in my daughters account for one month then she use it to show she has the funds?

Hi all... asking for a friend: Their Non Imm retirement visa with multiple re-entry is expiring in a little less than 90 days. Is it too late to deposit 800K himself? (agent provided previously). If too late to do himself, can any one recommend an agent charging "reasonable" price to handle renewal and 800K in BKK? Pattaya or Chiang Mai are possible if necessary or if significantly less expensive.? Thanks for any helpful info!

Visa Approved - application from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

Workcation freelancer category

Nationality: Singapore

Applied: 13 August

Additional Document Request: 18 August

Approved: 25 August

Documents submitted as follows.

PDF 1:

- Flight booking itinerary into VN

- Immigration stamp on passport

- Booking.com receipt of accommodation

- Passport full book with biodata page and ALL pages. I scaled down the sizes of my scans in order to fit multiple images across a few pages

PDF 2:

- Financial evidence letter clearly explaining the order of the following pages. I included a tabulation of all bank account statements and converted them to THB in this letter.

- Webpage showing the latest forex rates to THB taken from the Bank of Thailand website

- Bank account statements (2 separate banks). Included bank account summary screenshot on the day of submission and three months of official bank statements

- Client invoices from Upwork over the past three months.

- Proof of income clearly showing withdrawal transactions from Upwork into my bank statements. Pertinent information (i.e. bank account number, date of transaction, and amount transferred) were clearly highlighted

PDF 3:

- Letter stating my intent to continue my freelance activities under the DTV visa

- Certificate of earnings letter from Upwork proving my freelancer status

- Screenshots of my Upwork portfolio

- Client contracts from Upwork. I had only submitted recurring contracts from one major client dating back to January 2025

Additional documents (2 PDFs):

1. Photos of ALL pages of my passport, which required a timestamp as per the embassy's instructions. I used a free timestamp app for this

2. Uploaded all of my client invoices for the past 6 months (previously submitted 3 months). Had to provide proof of income showing withdrawals for the past 6 months too

Huge thanks to this group, it was definitely heaps easier to gather my documents thanks to the amount of information and testimonials available here.
