Good morning, I write books and I receive monthly royalties from a literary agent. I don't have a company. In your opinion, can I apply for the DTV as a freelance digital nomad?

Thank you

Dear Thai advice, for the 60 day visa on entry. Do I need to show accommodation booking for whole 60 days or will they allow initially 30 days booking first?

Hello super group, i submitted my visa application last tuesday in Hanoi under the category of freelancer and it has been since on “Pending approval”…since i didn’t know wether they would give it to me or not, i decided to stay 3 months in VN before re-entering Thailand, so i asked the DTV to start in may, in more than 2 months…would it be the reason nothing seems to move ? Anyone has been in my situation ? You need to ask for the visa at maximum 3 months before you start to use it so i thought i was in my right to do so…thanks for your thoughts on that !

Hello, I plan to apply for a DTV visa in Laos as a freelancer. I have been working for a company for 2 months, earning around 400€ from real estate. Is my work experience and salary sufficient? Are these factors considered when applying for the visa?

Hi. I’m here on a 90day spouse visa and I’m wanting to extend for 60 days. Can someone tell me what papers I need to take to immigration. I’ve tried looking on the UdonThani website but there page isn’t loading. Cheers

My DTV just got approved, here is my timeline.

- I applied on Jan 18th on soft power, medical, with 1 doctor appointment letter indicates baby delivery,

1 joint bank statement over $16000

- 2days later I got email: Proof of current financial evidence ,e.g. Bank statement not less than $16,000/person or $36,000 for joint account that show applicant's name.

- Submitted new bank statement as required.

- long waiting~ status stucked on Pending for a month

- 2 days ago, I wrote an email to info@thaicgny.com states my situation that knowing DTV visa approval status earlier will be a big help considering 1) going to Thailand for pregnancy care and delivery and postpartum care, needs time to make more doctor appointments and settle down. 2) waiting for my DTV visa approved and then apply DTV for my spouse and kid. 3) Have one toddler that needs hiring nanny in advance.

- 1 day later, I received email says already push a note to consider my visa soon.

- Today, got my visa approved

Hi All,

I want to apply for a DTV workcation visa based on my being self supportive by managing my stocks. I see online I will need to provide bank statements, but no specifics. I have scoured the websites, googled it and scrolled down through these FB groups but am still unsure. My questions are:

* Does anyone know if they have specific minimum income thresholds and if so for how many months do they want bank statements?

* I am not incorporated/have no company or paychecks, it's just me and my cap gains and dividend distribution transfers. Have others gotten visas in this scenario?

* I plan to apply while in Ho Chi Minh, but through the ThaiEvisa site portal. Does anyone have any pertinent information on doing it this way versus in person at the embassy in HCM?

* Alternately, how many times in a row can I leave Thailand and re enter under the 60-90 day tourist visa and not have any problems with immigration? I have heard 2-3 times, but what is your knowledge of this?

Hey I am currently at BKK and they wont let me in as I need the DTV. Can anyone recommend the best nearby country that would be the quickest processing time. I consult for a new start up company or I could do Thai language or some other Thai culture activity. What would you recommend?
