I just heard of UMBRELLA work permit what how much cost?

so then I'll fulfill the citizenship requirements for 3 years working and paying taxes, if done for next 3 years ?, im married to thai girl. As I'm a freelancer work remotely so can't fulfill this work permit rule

I’m planning on living in Prachuap Khiri Khan with either a retirement or marriage visa. My question is about the required letter from the bank stating that 800/400K Baht was deposited via international transfer and has been in the account for at least 2 months dated the day of applying for the retirement/marriage visa. If I have to open a Bangkok Bank account in a ‘easy’ branch, say Pattaya, can I get the letter from the PKK branch or does it have to be obtained from the branch where I opened the account? If so, can I transfer the account to the PKK branch?

Does anybody know if the Hua Hin immigration office (the one I’ll be using) requires this letter or are happy with bank statements?

Hello again! I will be applying in Taipei. Has anyone had experience applying there with bank statements from a savings account? My savings account has had over 500k THB for more than 6 months, however there have only been a couple of transactions over this period.

I am a remote worker. Can I just provide proof of employment? Is there a specific format?

Planning on visiting Thailand for the 9th time. The first few times I got a 90 day visa and the last few were 60 day visas + 30 day extensions. The last time I went out I provided an acceptance letter from a Muaythai gym with a registration number. I also provided everything else you need to provide for the 90/60 day visas. Is there anything else I need to provide for the DTV when it comes to muaythai purposes and are there any reasons why an application could be turned down? (The more reasons you list the better) I can also provide bank statements showing significant funds. I've had to result to creating a facebook to ask this since the Royal Thai embassy London haven't replied to any of my emails. It says there are no refunds when applying for an E-Visa so would prefer to know before I apply and pay as this is a new visa and just wanted to make sure I get everything right. Any help would be much appreciated.

I’m about to have to do a bounce, and I was planning on visiting another country close by, but after doing some in-depth research, it’s not exactly what I though it was, so I’m opening up my options. I have it narrowed down to Da Nang, Singapore and Manila/Cebu. Is there a consensus among the group of the best destination? Sorry if it’s off-topic, but I need to figure this out ASAP. Not too worried about the budget, within reason, and I can stay as long as I want. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Edit. Basically going because my visa is up. I enjoy Thailand, and thought the Phils were comparable, but the comments online make me now think different. The usual activities... sightseeing, tours, nightlife, etc. I'm not hard to please. Just something interesting to do to bide time before returning here.

Has anyone got dtv for muay thai? Any companies in chiang mai that offer a letter and 6 month program? Any info would be appreciated I have all other requirements.

One month for approval for DTV (workcation) at USA - LA Consulate.

I wrote a brief letter to support my application as an online stock trader for my own personal brokerage investment accounts. I included the first page (summary) from my most recent account statement. About 2 weeks after my submission, I was asked for my most recent income tax statement (I uploaded only the first page of my 1040 Fed). About 1.5 weeks later, they asked again for my income tax and this time I uploaded state and federal (including all pages of 1040.) They also asked for proof of 17k USD. My initial application showed a balance of ~16k in a bank money market savings. The next day they further clarified that money market accounts do not qualify so I transfered it to a non money market savings account. There might be some misunderstanding that a bank money market savings is an investment account. A couple days later, approved! Well worth $400 for a 5 year visa.
