Hello! We are looking to come to Thailand for 3-6 months in the new year. We are from Canada and we’re wondering if we will have trouble getting our visas?

And how long before we go do we apply for them? We’re not to sure if we should book tickets first or after applying for the visa

My husband is self employed and I will be quitting my job to travel next year.

Any info is much appreciated!❤️

Hi all,

I just had my Soft power DTV rejected in the Taipei embassy, they said a 2 week cookery course was not enough to get approved...I can try another embassy and do an online application as they don't leave a record. I'm quite disappointed as so many seem to have been approved for Soft power.

Regarding TM30 in Jomtien.

I recently left the country for a couple of weeks and when I returned on 27th Sept I stupidly forgot to file an online TM30. I did file one on the entry before on 22nd Aug at the same address. Since this is our permanent address is it going to be a problem that I returned to the same address and didn't file for my most recent entry?

I have my annual extension of stay application soon so I'll need to have my TM30 status correct for that.

I could login and file an online TM30 now but you can't backdate the check in date past one day.

Any advice on the best course of action would be much appreciated.

I’m new to Thailand and new to the 90 days reporting thing.

I don’t have a rental contract, I’ve been staying at a few different places.

If someone could explain how to do it, it’d be very much appreciated. :)

I am applying from London in December (I am only home for 12 days over Christmas so I know it’s a big rush including public holiday days). I already have my flight booked back to Thailand. Say I get it issued *after* I’ve flown back would I be able to leave Thailand and enter from a different country to activate it or would I have to return back to the UK? Thank you 🙏🏼
