I want to apply for a dtv visa in Poland (I am in Poland). What happens if I fly to Thailand while my application is being processed? I have a ticket for December 10th and I will submit my application only in a week, it is possible that they will not manage to process my application by the time of departure.

This is not another bank account question, but it is in a similar direction, I hope the admins allow it.

**How can a foreigner in Thailand, let's say on a DTV, convert crypto like Bitcoin to Thai baht cash?

**

To clarify - the crypto assets are not in a Thai exchange. The foreigner does not have a Thai ID card and doesn't have NDID either. Let's make it even harder for him, he doesn't even have a Thai bank account.

What are the options? Are there any with exchange rates close to reasonable?

Will opening a Thai bank account help in this situation?

USA - CHICAGO APPROVAL

Hey everyone, I wanted to share the good news that my Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) application was approved! I run a small agency and own an LLC. Here's what I submitted for my application (filed on October 28th - approved on 14th November) in case it helps anyone:

1. Cover Letter: A clear explanation of all the documents I included and my intentions for applying for the DTV.

2. Identification: Passport, U.S. Driver's License, and a photo (self-taken with a whitened background).

3. Business Documents: Articles of Organization (proof of LLC).

EIN documentation.

My resume.

Screenshot of my company website.

4. Bank Information:

I transferred $16,000 from my business account to my personal account the same day. I provided: A screenshot showing the balance in my personal account (current date).

A recent Chase statement showing my name and account number (since the Chase balance screenshot didn’t include my name).

Note: I didn’t include transaction details, just the account balance.

5. Proof of Income: A business income statement showing deposits into my business account (dated 3 months back).

6. Application: I provided them with my Condo unit address (in Bangkok) and any flight number I could find leaving the US to Bangkok. Was not asked to show further proof. The fee was $400 USD.

After waiting 2 weeks, I emailed them for a follow-up this morning at 10:30 am (the 14th of November), and at 4:30 pm I received an email with the approval.

I did leave Thailand on October 14th with an ED visa that expired on the 14th of October. I was told that I didn't need to cancel it (by immigration) so I didn't. This is proof that you may not need to cancel your ED visa before obtaining the DTV.

I hope this breakdown is helpful to anyone applying or considering it. If you have questions, feel free to ask! 😊

with the new rules that tourist get a sixty day stamp when entering the kingdom. Then I can go to the BKK immigration office and pay 1,040 baht to get a 30 day extension? does the immigration re-stamp my passport or just sends me an email? also can this process be accomplished from the website?

Hello ladies,

My name is Noni and I’m from London. I am intending to relocate to Thailand in January and looking to connect with women of a similar age to me i.e in their early 50’s.I am looking for suggestions and recommendations for short term rental of a 2 bedroom villa that is convenient to local amenities such as supermarkets, hospitals and beaches) Unfortunately, I am in a situation whereby my husband is currently unable to join me. I would be grateful for any hints and tips concerning visa , banking and health insurance. Thanks in advance…

Honesty and sincerity greatly appreciated and returned,
