TLDR : Answer Summary
Tourists arriving in Thailand receive a 60-day stamp upon entry. To extend this visa for an additional 30 days, you must visit a local immigration office and pay a fee (typically 1,900 baht). Upon approval, immigration officials will stamp your passport with an 'extension of stay' stamp. The process must be completed in person, and cannot be done online, even if you utilize the eExtension system. For Bangkok, the extension can be handled at IT Square Laksi Plaza, where photo and copy services are available to assist with necessary documentation.

No, then you can go to the immigration office that serves the area where you stay, pay 1900baht and get a 30 day extension

Nope, you get a stamp in the passport

nope, even if you used the "eExtension system" (which charges a special processing fee between 500 baht and 1500baht in addition to the extension fee of 1900baht) you still have to go to the immigration office in person.

In Bangkok on a 60 day free entry stamp you go to IT Square Laksi Plaza to get a 30 day extension. There are copy/photo shops next to the immigration office there.

It's at this location,
