Hi all,I thought some maybe interested in a reply I received from the Sydney Consulate regarding Thai-language course for the DTVisa.

This is a direct cut and paste of the reply I received from them today.

Good Afternoon,

The Thai language course is suitable to apply for Destination Thailand Visa (DTV). Please make sure that you have provide prove of confirmation to attend the activity, the Thai language course (such as receipt, the letter from course provider etc.)

-You must remain in Australia during the visa approval process.

-You are required to stay in Australia until your visa application is processed.

Kind Regards,

I have gone off the DT Visa idea, but this maybe of help to someone.šŸ™

Hi everyone,

I know this topic often sparks passionate discussions on Facebook, I’m not sure why, but I’m asking because I couldn’t find the information in official sources.

If you’re traveling around Asia and applying for a DTV or another Thai visa (following the online process in the country you’re currently in), what happens if the process takes 10 days or more and you’re in a different country by the time it’s completed?

Has anyone been in this situation and can share their experience or advice?

Please, I’m looking for factual insights and not speculation or aggressive comments.

NOTE: For those who argue that in the past, you needed to wait in the same country where you applied, I believe the main reason was that you had to pick up your passport. Even in the worst-case scenario back then, the waiting time was never as long as the 10 days (or more) that many are currenlty experiencing with DTVs or other visas.

Thanks

Hello group. Can anyone recommend a good lawyer who can speak English well? I need to sue someone for breach of contract.

Thank you so much. šŸ˜€

Hello, I have a trip planned to Indonesia at the end of February, and I would like to apply for a DTV Visa (Soft Power) while in Jakarta. However, the required 500,000 THB will only be in my account about one week before my departure to Indonesia. I can provide a six-month bank statement showing my account activity, but the 500,000 THB balance will appear just a few days before my visa application. Would this be sufficient?

Thank you for your feedback.

Hello everyone.

I’m just waiting to get my DTV visa approved.

After Reading some posts on this page, are people having hassle with immigration going into and coming out of Thailand? I.e. having to provide documents every time ?

I will be leaving Thailand at least once every 3 months

Got my DTV visa this week. How critical is it to go to Thailand in the next 90 days to ā€œactivateā€ it? Or it can happen any time in the next 5 years without issues? The instructions are ambiguous. Thx!
