Has anyone heard anything from the Los Angeles Consulate as of recently? I know turn around times are supposed to be 15 business days. With the holidays and the fires I can’t help but feel they are backed up and taking way longer than other embassies.

Hey, all! I am finishing my visa application (DTV) and am on the last page. Just had a few questions before I submit; 1 & 2 seem pretty straightforward. 3, are they asking for my current US address, like a bill addressed to me? Not sure what they’re askin’ for. 4; can this be my US account, or do I need a Thai banking account? I do have a Wise account, that I could transfer funds into, however I’d prefer to keep it in my US account. 5; I do have a letter from a Muay Thai gym, however, it is 6 photos, and the maximum picture size can be no larger than 3MB. I have a file compressor, but I’m not sure which of the 6 files to upload.

I leave on the 22nd, for Pattaya. Hope this is enough time.

DTV rejected, reason :

"Your visa application has been rejected. Passport expires on xx/xx/2027 Surname doesn't match the information on the passport."

Problem is, the surname, first name and middle names are exactly as on the passport. Also passport expiring in the end of 2027 should be fine, right ?

Only thing coming to my mind is that I had a tourist visa (approved) previously for which I didn't use my middle names. This time I used them because some people got refused for not using them.

Has anyone been in this situation ?

I want to apply again in another embassy but I am very confused on how to fill the form now.

Does anyone know what they mean with

"**letter from company to Thai embassy license of company"

Hi, has anyone applied for DTV in Laos during these days and got approved? Is there an interview? May I know the process and what do they ask during the interview? I'm planning to next week for the visa run and some said Laos is difficult to apply without the agent. Thank you in advance.

I have a 90 day non-O (retirement) visa and I want to do a 1 year extension. I'm in Bangkok. I know the earliest day to extend is 45 days remaining. What is the latest date for extending (one year)? Do you have to extend with a minimum amount of valid days remaining on the visa?

I have contacted a visa agent about getting help with the DTV. They told me it would be 130,000baht each for myself and my husband ( total 260,000baht). That sounds a little outrageous but I've never done this before. Please advise! Thank you!
