They don’t have to give you a reason of rejection. It’s a privilege to enter the country. Not a right. Try entering Laos then try entering Thailand by land. If that’s possible.

Immigration does hold passports. When I did my renewal for extension based on retirement in December. I submitted my application, all relevant documents, money, passport. I had to go back a few days later to pick up my passport. Chonburi Immigration.

In May?! Yes you’re going to need all 6 vaccinations. Two PCR tests. One before boarding plane and one when disembarking. Three skill testing questions on the history of Thailand. A blood, urine, stool, semen sample. (Just give them your underwear for that one.) 150,000 THB Insurance.

That should just about cover it but check back in May to be sure. 🙄
