I’m a Canadian. I’m on Non O 90 day visa which expires December 22. I got it in Khon Kean. I want to apply for an extension. I know I should go between 30 - 45 days.

What documents or paperwork (other than passport) do I need? Can I get a 90 day extension or do they just offer 60 days? How many times am I allowed to extend?

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Canadian on a Non-O 90-day visa expiring on December 22 wants to extend their stay in Thailand and inquires about necessary documents, the duration of the extension possible (90 or 60 days), and the frequency of extensions allowed. Another user previously commented that they were granted just a 60-day extension once, with required documents varying based on personal circumstances, such as marital status.

I’m single. Not in school. Canada’s Covid numbers are very high. I’m safer here. Ya I know Immigration doesn’t care. But I wanna stay longer. I was thinking of going retirement visa but I don’t know if I can do it while I’m still here.

. Ok I’ll look into it. Should I do the 60 day first then the retirement visa when that’s about to expire? Or are you talking about non o first? I got a non o in September but it expires December 22.

@Phi***
they may be able to transfer your existing O Visa to a one year retirement visa. Which I think would only ost $14k. Thai Visa Centre on FB or Line. Just let them know your situation and they will advise the possibilities
