the extension is not 30 days from when you apply its added to the previous expiry date. So this person arrive no visa but exempt stamp for 45 days they can extend after 10 days if they want and get a total of 75 days. They don't send you away, I have never been sent away.
no not pedantic. You need to use correct wording. I understand the system but many as per this post don't hence the questions they ask so the information needs to be accurate. What if they thanked you for your advice and go to immigration after the 60 days as you advised then get charged overstay and the extension refused are you going to say sorry ?
3 months travel is easy, get a tr60 visa then pay 1900baht at immigration office thailand and get an extension of 30 days that gives you 90 days total. Volunteer visa i am not sure about
no quite correct. Must apply for the 30 day extension before 60 days expires not after and TR60 visa can only be extended once. Border run will get them 30days exempt stamp not another extension on the visa
