you go online to Sydney thai consulate and do the online pre-approval application, when you get the email back confirming pre-approval you then send passport and paperwork to the Sydney consulate for the visa to be stuck into your passport

I leave and return every 2 weeks. I do fifo mining in the North of WA on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster and live in Bangkok
