Not true, mate. 🙏 The DTV is treated as a tourist-type visa, and Bangkok Bank (and most others) won’t open or maintain accounts under it. Property ownership doesn’t change that—there’s no official rule or policy that makes it an exception. The only rare cases where DTV holders can get accounts are through accredited Muay Thai or cooking schools with heavy documentation, but property alone isn’t accepted
