They don’t care. Don’t mention it and neither will they.

I’ll go out on a limb here and guess that 99% of those working in Thailand remotely, online in other ways such as teaching Chinese students, making a living as digital creators etc are working off the books and in most cases illegally as far as visas and work permits go.

No, you can’t work on the wrong visas including retirement visas.

I’ve just heard stories here. I’ve always done things by the book and haven’t needed those alternatives. Sorry.

Nope. Have to have a Bachelors as per Thai law. There are way’s around it but usually aren’t worth the time or the risk. You could try language schools, it seems they have different qualification requirements at times. All of the language schools/private schools/public schools I’ve dealt with require bachelors degrees.

yeah, I’ve seen a lot of foreigners setting up their partners in businesses such as beauty etc. The foreigners are hands off with the customers but probably lend a helping opinion and wallet on matters.

I do see some leading tours but either there’s a trick or they’re taking the chance legally. I imagine if you have Thai fixers you could get away with a bit. Not something I’d want to risk.

@Paul ******
agreed but many people assume they can come to Thailand and do any work just like back home so good to know nevertheless.

Double check that the business you want to start isn’t one of the Thai only careers.
