Has anyone been refused entry lately?

Arrived last year.

3 cambodia land trips, and prior a year of covid stamps.

If i fly out from bkk to malaysia and come back same day - and say i come back to study thai. I will go with fast track service. Is this not worth chancing? I want to get 30 more days to organize ed visa. I know Laos by land would be safest but this will take a lot less time lol.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community is discussing the risks associated with re-entering Thailand after multiple entries and extensions, particularly exploring the idea of a same-day trip to Malaysia to gain an additional 30 days for processing an education visa. Some commenters warn about being scrutinized at immigration due to a history of multiple land border crossings and the use of COVID-related visa extensions, suggesting that it might be safer to apply for a proper long-term visa to avoid complications.

It’s amazing how much easier and less worrisome life can be if you want to stay long term by getting an appropriate long term visa. Trying to get around the system will eventually put you in a precarious situation.

There is no positive answer anyone can give you here with your history of covid extensions and actual entries it's totally down to the IO infront of you don't be surprised if you are denied entry Chokh di

there is no official amount of times on air border crossings… 3-4 is not a realistic number as I know people that use Bangkok as a hub and regularly travel every week Out/In…now with that being said eventually you will be questioned but not at a certain number of entries or it could be that you are never questioned…

Depends on how LONG you are in Thailand on each entry. Weekly in/outs are not an issue because these people probably only spend 2-3 days in the country each time. The issue are those spending the ENTIRE 30 days or 60 days or whatever the maximum permitted stay is, leaving and coming back the same day or next day or something.

but you still can’t put a number on it…once you put a number on it, it turns into fear mongering

There was just a guy that was held at the airport for multiple hours a couple of days ago.

You can't just purchase regular fast track, you need VIP entry where you contact an agency and give them your entire entry history and they quote a price based on that.
