I have a feeling it wont work as I have not declared myself a resident of Cambodia to my emnassy here. I do have ever have a housing lease as I.m working here at the moment. By residency, do you mean having a housing lease and living here, or declaring residency at the US embassy?

,if you buy a cheap ticket out, probably better to buy a ticket to Cambodia than Vnam.

Cambodia has visa on arrival, while Vnam does not. Airlines may ask to see a visa before you get on the plane to Vnam.

Air Asia to Cambodia is the cheapest airline.

I do want to say thanks Brandon to you, and others in the group. Mainly your replies since Ive joined have been great and extremely helpful. I know there are likely changes that are about to take place, re: visas.

I.ll be really trying to get a bank account open this next trip. Since I wont have time to rent a place yet, I.ll visit some of the agents Ive noted here in the group, and see if they can get me a bank account with a TM 30 from a hotel.
