Has anyone got experience with applying for thai visas in Phnom Pehn at Thai Embassy? Would be interested to hear how you found it - if you have any tips etc.

Will be applying for Non Imm type 0 volunteer

You’ll need a bank statement and it takes about 5 working days for a volunteer visa you’ll need the paperwork from wherever your going to volunteer

I was thinking of doing the same, but read from prevoius posts you can be denied. Not sure whyi went to Lucky lucky moto just to ask about applying there. Strange that Lucky said Id have to get a recent bank statement went applyimh

It's fairly straightforward if you have all the documentation required for your visa application.

I did not have proof of onward travel. We did get ask a few questions about our plans. After explaining our plans and that we would be crossing from Thailand into Laos and which border crossing we were planning to use, they issued the visa. We did have to provide proof of funds.

you can't make an appointment you go in the morning, check the opening time. Hand over your paperwork and they tell you when you need to come back. Ours took 3 working days not including the day we dropped it off.

ok thanks. I'm hoping to travel while waiting the 5 days for processing - but I guess that may not be feasible if I am given a specific date to come back ...
