China don’t use Facebook, Google, YouTube etc.

Outside of their ecosystem.

To my knowledge at the time the only way to contact was email or phone (these are listed on the site)

I definitely satisfy all the requirements. That’s why I’m stumped.

Yeah through the site there is no cancellation. I emailed the embassy and they told me to cancel I should write a letter , date and sign it and send to it them- which I did on March 27.

Basically the original application isn’t rejected. It’s pending and has been that way since Jan 18, 2026.

Whatever documents they requested, I supplied. Sometimes they asked me for things that are impossible for me to get. Things that only a Chinese citizen would get. In those cases I explained that I wasn’t a Chinese citizen and didn’t and couldn’t have those documents. It’s remained pending.

The application in Hanoi was a new application. With no prior rejections .

Documents submitted showed ownership of company, company registration documents etc.

Financially speaking I am a high earner, so there is no issue with proving money.

The only 2 thing I think it could be is:

1. Current pending application in Shanghai

2. That I own the business I work for so there is no employment contract. Rather ownership proof etc.

Form what I understand a lot of people are employed by outside companies and have their company sign a document saying that they can work remotely . This is somewhat different for me

Yeah bit of a nightmare. I was in China at the time for a few months. Should never have tried to do anything through them.

At one point on a call the women just stopped speaking English and I asked her to stop speaking Chinese as I couldn’t understand and she replied “no”. I asked why. “Because”

Literally never had an experience like that in my life

Yeah that was my thought too. I requested cancellation of the last application on March 27 , so 3 weeks ago.

I’ve requested confirmation , tried calling, emailing and all no response.

I don’t have a history of rejections. The visa in Hanoi was the first rejection.
