Wait till morning & repin your post when the experts are awake. As far as I am aware you need a O visa that does not need health insurance. But you do need to exit country to start process. Having said that not so easy at moment so wait till morning repost if necessary as things are very different at moment
Gordon Braid they stopped giving tickets before 11am today & telling all to come back 7am tomorrow I got in a area about 9:45 & sat behind the 2 young ladies on information desk for a few hours . I know it was hell just getting into area
not like today they ran out of numbers multiple ques that were a jumble of people & stretches all around upstairs & being turned away once they get inside. I respect they are overstretched & doing there best but better to tell the 100s outside still no more today rather than let them que a few more hours first.
It’s a farce the insurance that you must have but they exclude various conditions which renders the policy practically worthless so in fact you are paying for a very expensive piece of paperwork.
you will have to leave the country to cancel your O-A visa & return on a 30 day exemption & go to immigration with more than 15 days remaining to apply for 90 day O
Currently doing the same & like any new process it daunting but if all papers in order seems to be going okay I go back Tuesday to hopefully get my 90 stamp
Do you offer a variety of policies other than the minimal approved policy which is far over priced & practically worthless which are still accepted by immigration
