After some advice from anyone who has used Bueng kan immigration. I am currently on a O-A which expires on February 3 2020 English passport & currently living in Bangkok but looking to move to Bueng Kan province soon. I am going to break my O-A not because I don’t want insurance but because I don’t want the approved insurance for this visa. My question is does anyone know if possible to convert a 30 exemption to a 90 day & then to a retirement O there. Yes I have the banked money & will be renting a property. Thanks in advance & only want information on Bueng Kan immigration thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on converting a 30-day exemption to a 90-day Non-O visa in Bueng Kan, as they currently hold an O-A visa set to expire soon. They express concerns over insurance requirements and are looking for specific information about the Bueng Kan immigration office, including their ability to process such conversions.
90 DAY REPORTING RESOURCES / SERVICES
Use the trusted Thailand 90 Day Reporting Serviceto get your in-person report done and mailed to you for as low as 375 THB (even if the online system doesn't work for you).

Ok but if they do not do the 90 day non O from a 30 day exemption what would be best alternative option to gain a non O visit a embassy out of country & if so which would be best embassy thanks
they are getting harder and harder to get. Vientiane requires a police background check, a medical certificate, proof of funds, a letter from your consulate stating you're "retired" to issue one and I think Savannakhet won't even issue it anymore.
That is one SMALL (as in totally tiny) immigration office. I doubt they offer it OR if they do they'd have to send it somewhere to get it approved (extending the under consideration period).
I agree, check with them, if they do it get the hand out that lists EVERY document you need AND also see how long it goes under consideration (the time from when you turn in your application for the 90 day Non-O until it is approved). Most offices require 15 days or more left on your 30 day visa exempt, or 60 day tourist visa entry to do the in country conversion BUT some offices require 21 days or more left on the stamp.
Good Luck, report back once you find out if you will so we all know..
yes I am aware of process but also aware as stated many times in responses that not all immigration offices can convert a 30 day exemption into a 90 day O hence my question.
