O-A, Retirement visa,Extension of stay why does it really matter what you call it. It really does not require every other person to be correcting to sound intelligent. I get the point & great full to this page for information but just correcting people on terminology when they probably know but use a well used terminology Retirement visa which many Thais & immigration use as well. Information is good correcting for the purpose of trying to sound clever or informative is not. Rant over

Be careful follow it up now because depending on how you transfer money in it may not show as a foreign telegraph transfer. I have Siam &it shows as local transfer because method I use send to Bangkok bank & they transfer to Siam. I lost 4 months of transfer & have now opened a Bangkok bank account & will do combined income & deposit

if applying in London money needs to be in a regular account. I made mistake of having in savings account sent me away to local bank transferred to other account got printed statement stamped at bank 20 minutes later back at embassy & accepted. But I do believe it now needs to be in for a set time as you say seasoned but unsure

As Tod said above it needs to be less than 3 months old to be valid. I did mine a month after I got it
