I have oft have had admiration for your patience in dealing with people less knowledgeable and considerate than yourself. That someone has driven you to seek reaffirmation from the sensible shows what a troubled soul that person must be. Please stay with us, I am so sorry that you are a target for a clearly troubled mind.

I only echo the sentiments here, an invaluable resource in what can be a confusing system. Not only is the advise clear and pertinent but the patience shown with certain posters admirable. Thank you Tod and others

The point being I didn't just bounce but used Thailand as the main hub of my extended holiday

I am here on a multiple entry visa. I was also here on one last year. However I have never applied for a 30 day extension, and I also visited Laos and trekked in Nepal for over a month last year. This year I again plan to visit Vietnam for a month and the Nepal or India. This a great visa for those that want to spend significant time in Asia but dont want to live here 365. If you want to live here I suggest using this visa only once as a 'test' before applying for something more permanent
