TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain the initial 90-day Non-O visa using the 800,000 baht bank deposit method, it is necessary to prove that the funds originated from overseas when applying at some immigration offices, like Bangkok and Hua Hin. However, most other offices do not require such proof for the 90-day Non-O visa based on retirement. For the yearly extension of the Non-O visa, only a 2-month seasoning of the funds is necessary, with no requirement to prove the origin of the funds.

If you are using 800K baht banked money method to get the initial 90 day Non-O visa inside the country at the Hua Hin immigration office you have to prove the funds originated from abroad ๐ฎ . You ask your bank for papers from the transfers.
we're not gonna get into a "can you use wise" to do international transfers, it depends on how it codes IN your bank book.

There is no proof of funds origin for using the 800K baht banked money method to get the year extension, only the 2 months seasoning rule
a month method for at least 8 years. Does that mean I am seasoned already. My wife is selling some land and I would switch to pay off cc debt in the states.
nope. .. what it means is if you're switching to banked money method you'd need to have the 800K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply for your next extension. There is no requirement to show it came from overseas
Then once you get that extension issued you need to leave the 800K baht in the bank for 3 months and then the balance can't go below 400K the rest of the year
